Kentucky car accident claims two lives

August 7, 2015

Whether someone passes away in a head-on collision caused by a drunk driver or suffers a serious injury after they are hit by someone who was texting and driving, every car crash is different. Although the details of an auto accident may vary from one case to another in Pikeville, or anywhere else in Kentucky, victims of these wrecks may suffer in numerous ways. From the loss of a loved one to physical pain, medical expenses and debilitating injuries, people who have been injured in a car accident should immediately explore all of their options.

A car accident that recently took place in Lexington left two people dead. The accident, which involved three vehicles, claimed the lives of a 63-year-old man from Lexington and a 64-year-old man from Middletown. A total of four people were riding in the three vehicles and investigators have not given any information on their injuries.

According to law enforcement officials, the accident happened close to the intersection of Bryan Station Road and Johnston Road. Authorities did not disclose how the crash happened, but the accident reconstruction unit for the police department was called in. Currently, there are not any pending criminal charges.

Recovering from a car accident can be incredibly difficult. For families who are dealing with the death of a close one or those who have suffered a permanent injury, moving forward may be a very lengthy process. For some people who have had their world flipped upside down because of a crash caused by a negligent driver, speaking about their circumstances with a legal professional provides tremendous value.
